the Celtics are awesome. i mean really, they advanced against Detroit. Detroit has made it to six straight eastern conference finals. now the celtics get to play the lakers for the big shabang. this is the first time the top 2 seeds in each conference have reached the finals. the celtics had the best record in the nba. the pistons had the 2nd best record and the lakers had the 3rd best record in the nba.
the Celtics and Lakers have had many a time in the finals together. the Celtics are 8-2 against the lakers in the finals. there was a very heated rivalry between these 2 teams that featured greats such as larry legend and Kareem Abdul Jabar. now the Celtics have the PGA tour, featuring Peirce, Garnett, Allen. the lakers have Kobe and Pau Gasol. this series looks to be one of the best ever. Cam even though most think that the NBA is stupid, I don’t. I love watching the celtics but i’m not gonna lie i didnt watch one season game. This may be the only time for me to see the celtics win a national championship and i’m going to take advantage of that since I’ve already seen the patriots and sox.
